We’ll start from the Albanian Riviera, cross into Epirus, Greece, weave through alpine passes, forests, and gorges, then loop back to Albania through wild mountain roads and historic towns.

Day 1 – Vlora ➡ Ioannina (via Gjirokastër & Vikos Gorge)
Route: Vlora → Tepelenë → Gjirokastër → Kakavia border → Ioannina → Vikos Gorge
Distance: ~230 km / 5 hrs
Highlights:
Ride south through the Vjosa valley and the old Ottoman bridges.
Explore Gjirokastër, the “Stone City.”
Cross into Greece at Kakavia border post.
Detour to Vikos Gorge — one of the deepest in the world, a breathtaking viewpoint at Beloi or Oxya.
Arrive Ioannina, lakeside city under the Pindus mountains.

Cross back into Albania via Leskovik border.
Soak in the Benja thermal baths near Përmet.
